Homicide at Rough Point

Written by Peter Lance, this is the true story of his investigation into the Doris Duke/Eduardo Tirella murder case from 1966. This was a challenging piece due to the true nature of the case. The scenes and people involved needed to be historically accurate, so every shot and scene was built from archival photos and input from Peter Lance. I created AI models of Peter Lance himself, both in 1966 and 2018, as well as recreating Doris Duke and Eduardo Tirella from the few archival photos available. This is meant to be a proof of concept for a full series documenting the full case and the latest evidence Peter has discovered. This case and Peter’s work were recently featured in Vanity Fair.
